4-H Day of Archeology

Recently, a group of Howard County 4-H’ers attended the 4-H Day of Archeology at Old Washington State Park. The members learned how archeology is used to preserve our past and learned about the tools of the trade at this day camp. Through hands-on activities they learned to categorize artifacts, interpret a dig site, and finished the day camp with a tour of the state park. If you would like to learn more about 4-H and all it has to offer, please call the Howard County Extension office at 845-7517. The Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service is an equal opportunity/equal access/affirmative action institution.
