Crop Certification Reports Due to FSA by July

The Howard County Farm Service Agency office would like to remind producers that in order to comply with program eligibility requirements, crop certification reports will need to be filed by July 15th for spring-seeded crops such as corn, grain, peanuts, rice or soybeans.

Dylan Bowman, County Executive Director, reminds producers to notify the county office of any changes in their farming operation.  This could include landowner changes, address changes or financial institution changes.  Also, in order to save time at the FSA office, call ahead.

Little River County is currently taking Livestock Forage Disaster Program applications for winter grazing crops only!  All counties are also taking applications for enrollment in the 2017 Agricultural Risk Coverage/Price Loss Coverage (ARC/PLC) program.  The deadline is August 1st.
