A Hot Springs man arrested back in October for the theft of money from Coca-Cola Bottling company coke machines in Nashville plead guilty this week in Howard County Circuit Court. Authorities identified thirty six year old Joshua Hicks from video footage supplied by local businesses. Hicks was already being held in the Clark County jail for similar incidents in nearby counties. He has been sentenced to five years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, to run concurrent with Clark County.
A Dierks man has been arrested on charges including Breaking or Entering, Theft of Property and Residential Burglary following an incident on October 29th at a residence on Hopson Lane in Dierks. Forty year old Rocky Huddleston confessed to authorities during an interview that he had taken property from an adjoining residence and shop that he was living next to. Huddleston stated that he went to the property approximately 20 times in October, taking property to sell his methamphetamine addiction. A pre-trial date has been set for February 28th and a trial date has been set for March 13th.
