2024 Primary Election Results

Tuesday, 20 percent of Arkansas’ registered voters showed up to vote in the Primary Election. 

Here are the results for state candidates;

Senator Steve Crowell had a total of 5,485 votes and Mark Silvey had 2,192. Arnetta Bradford had a total of 1,437 votes, Dolly Henley 1,374 votes, and Robert Leslie Bradford had a total of 231 votes. 

In Howard County;

For Justice of the Peace 6 Elizabeth McDaniel had 79 votes and Josh Zylks had 64 votes. For Justice of the Peace 9 Stacy Turner 45 votes and Juanita Jackson 47 votes. 

For Mineral Springs School Board 3, Ricky Gamble had a total of 43 votes, 7 of those votes were out of Hempstead County, Kay Thornton had a total of 35 votes 24 of those votes were out of Hempstead County, and Nikita N. Hopkins had a total of 27 votes and 5 of those votes were out of Hempstead County. 

There were 59 votes for and 33 against to elect council members by ward instead of at large in the city Mineral Springs. 

In Pike County;

For Republican Justice of the Peace District 1, Randy Lamb had 82 votes and Roger Don Floyd had a total of 43 votes.
