NPD responds to a victim that was stabbed

On 1-26-2024, at around 7:30 pm, Nashville City Officers were called to the Howard Memorial Hospital in reference to a possible stabbing. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, 18-year-old Nicolas Lacovelli. Lacovelli said he was in his apartment on 4^th and Bishop when he heard someone shouting in the hallway. Lacovelli said that he and the individual identified as 40-year-old Robert Brantley got into a physical altercation. Lacovelli said that during the altercation, Brantley pulled a knife and stabbed Lacovelli in the back. Lacovelli was transported to Howard Memorial and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Brantley was arrested and booked into the Howard County Jail for second degree battery.
