SPCSD pleased with Beating the Odds Award

The South Pike County School District held their regular monthly meeting on Monday.

Superintendent Tanya Wilcher talked about how proud she was to see that the 3rd through 6th graders received the Beating the Odds Award.

Wilcher also discussed plans for the upcoming projects for the facilities.

During the meeting there was a motion made by Alyssa Duggan and seconded by Robert Silva to appoint Cory Ballard for the vacant school board position in Zone 1.
