Hempstead County Resident arrested for Drug Paraphernalia

On March 15th Director Gary Dorman of the 8th North Task Force was contacted by Agent Holly Romero of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections (ACC).

According to the affidavit, Romero reported that she along with PPO Retzel Jackson went to the residence of David Sanders and located 46 year old Danette Moore of Conway. Director Dorman arrived at the residence as well.  Romero reported that Moore had a glass pipe in her hand along with a small container of marijuana and another glass pipe in her purse. It was reported that Moore told Agents that the pipes did not belong to her but that she had been using methamphetamine and allegedly confessed that the marijuana belonged to her. Moore was then removed from the room as agents continued to search the residence. Dorman reported that both Moore and Sanders have warrantless search waivers as part of the conditions of their parole.

Romero then located another glass smoking device inside a teapot in the living room area. Director Dorman located another glass smoking pipe, in a kitchen cabinet that was being stored inside a ceramic container along with a straw that is commonly the type used to load methamphetamine into a pipe. Moore was arrested and transported to the Hempstead County Jail and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Due to Sanders’ heart appointment, agents allowed him to stay at the residence and asked Sanders to turn himself in to the Sheriff’s Office on March 16th.
