Nashville Coach/Teacher Resigns

Less than two weeks after making their coaching assignments complete, the Nashville school district has lost an assistant football coach and classroom teacher.

Superintendent Doug Graham confirmed Wednesday that first year defensive line coach T.J. Langley has notified the district that he is resigning.

Langley was hired at the May school board meeting and came to Nashville from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Graham said Langley plans to return to the college coaching ranks.

Due to the season being only about a month away, the superintendent said it’s to late for the district to find anyone at this time so the football staff coaching assignments will be reconfigured and the team will work with one less coach this fall.
