Nashville City Council Discussing Possibility of Solar Array

The Nashville City Council is considering the possibility of adding a solar farm at the city wastewater treatment facility to help lower energy costs. Council members at Monday’s meeting heard a presentation from McKinstry, a Texas based company that has already entered into a energy efficiency contract with Howard County. The council approved moving forward with an investment grade audit to determine the scope of the project and estimated energy savings.
