Locals Inducted into Arkansas Purple Circle Club

Several local state fair exhibitors have been inducted into the Arkansas Purple Circle Club. Codie Jamison of Nashville had the Grand Champion Hampshire Gilt at the Arkansas State Fair and Livestock Show.

Another induction, Sara Sweat of McCaskill Sweat had the Grand Champion AOB – American Heifer, Grand Champion AOB – English Heifer and the Senior English Breeding Beef Showmanship at the state fair.

Ashley Terry of Delight showed a Grand Champion AOB Wool Ram at the state fair and has also been inducted into the Purple Circle Club. Gracie Terry of Delight also showed a Grand Champion AOB Wool Ewe.

Baylie Clay of Glenwood showed a Grand Champion Brahman Heifer at the state fair.

Arkansas Farm Bureau President Randy Veach presented the awards.

The Purple Circle Club is an awards program recognizing junior livestock exhibitors who earned championship honors at the Arkansas State Fair. It is sponsored by Arkansas Farm Bureau a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.
