Nashville City Park Commission Approves Bid to rebuild Toland Heights Playground

The Nashville City Park Commission has accepted a bid for installation of a new playground at the park’s property at Toland Heights. Commissioners at a Tuesday meeting accepted a proposal from Davis Playgrounds for parts and installation to rebuild the playground, damaged by a fire earlier this year. Park Director Mark Dale reported on recent events and said the Golden Gathering event held on October 5th had about 700 meals served. The last games of the soccer season took place on Wednesday. The park will hold the annual Trick or Treat Trail event on Tuesday, October 31st.
