Nashville Elementary OEP Awards

The attached pictures are math and science teachers that contributed to the recent OEP awards at Nashville Elementary School.

Nashville Elementary School has been recognized by OEP as a school that is “Beating the Odds”!  The Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards, and the “Beating the Odds” awards are given to schools who are serving a high percentage of students from low-income communities that are nevertheless reaching high levels of achievement.

NES was previously recognized for the following awards:

  • Southwest Region Overall High Achieving
  • Southwest Region Math High Achieving


In the “Beating the Odds” OEP report, NES received two new awards:


  • Southwest Region Math Beating the Odds
  • Southwest Region Science Beating the Odds
