Several area high school football players took part in National Signing Day on Wednesday. Two senior football players from Nashville High School signed commitments to continue their sports careers in college. Ty Pettway signed with Southeast Oklahoma State University, a member of the Great American Conference. Pettway is a two year starter, was selected all conference twice and most valuable wide receiver in 2016.
Domonick Kight signed with Coffeyville Community College. He is a three year starter at wide receiver and set several school records including: 4th in school history in single season receiving, 4th single season receiving touchdowns and 1st in school history in single game receiving five touchdowns.
At Dierks High School, Jarett Fox chose to commit to Henderson State University as a defensive lineman. An official signing for him will take place on Monday the 12th at 10:30.
