The Nashville Police Department has released figures on the number of arrests made in 2017 and other data. Assistant Police Chief Amy Marion says the year finished very close to last year’s figures. The department made 653 arrests with 82 felony arrests. Misdemeanor arrests totaled 267 and DWI arrests totaled 17. Police officers wrote 782 tickets with 152 warrants served. The police department worked 205 accidents in Nashville. Investigators worked 69 felony criminal cases and had 220 drug arrests…executed five search warrants, seized one vehicle and 13 firearms.
