Pafford Emergency Medical Services has assumed operations of the Howard County Ambulance Service. Clay Hobbs, director of operations, says final details of the purchase were being discussed Friday morning. While residents may see a different ambulance on the road, Hobbs says the employees and great service will stay the same.
“We assumed operations at 8 a.m. on Friday and are working to put the ambulances in service. All of the staff that was with HCAS is now employed with Pafford Medical Services, keeping the same management structure in place.”
Pafford EMS serves four states and has been in operation since 1967, based in Hope.
