SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training in Pike County

On May 23rd, the Pike County Hometown Health Coalition will be hosting a SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training presented by Cheryl Byrd, of the Arkansas Department of Health. The goal of the SafeTALK training is to provide tools that allow you to become alert to Suicide. The SafeTALK Training is FREE and anyone age 15 and over is eligible to participate. SafeTALK is designed to teach professionals and non-professionals how to better recognize the signs of suicide and connect people in crisis with appropriate resources to receive additional support.

The SafeTALK Training will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd from 5:30-8:30p at the Cooperative Extension Office in Murfreesboro. All participants are required to register for this 3 hour training by contacting Eva Langley (870) 285-2161. The registration deadline is May 22nd.
