Searcy Truck Driver Killed in Hempstead County Interstate 30 Accident

A Searcy, Arkansas man has died following a wreck that occurred Saturday afternoon, September 23rd, on Interstate 30 in Hempstead County.

According to the Arkansas State Police, sixty year old Riley Huffstutler was the driver of a Peterbuilt semi truck that was traveling on east near Mile Marker 24, between Hope and Fulton, when the vehicle traveled south off the roadway into the ditch and through a creek. The truck then struck an embankment before overturning and landing on its left side. According to the report, the accident happened just after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
