The Howard County Farmers’ Market would like to remind those purchasing produce that SNAP EBT cards and WIC coupons are accepted at the market. SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and funding has allowed matching money through the Double Up Food Bucks program. Anyone spending ten dollars in SNAP benefits at the farmers market can receive an additional coupon for ten more dollars of produce.
The market is located at 110 S Washington Street next to the Nashville senior adult center and Howard County Health Department. It is open each Friday from 7 a.m. until about mid-day or sold out.
To register to sell at the market or for more information about activities and garden workshops at the market and garden, contact Co-Managers Debra Bolding at (870) 557-2352 and Mary Hartness (501) 472-8092.
