20 Year Prison Term Given To Umpire Man

An August 2017 rape charge has resulted in a 20 year prison sentence for an Umpire man.

37 year old Silverio Avilez was accused of having sex with a 10 year old girl. Avilez entered his plea Wednesday by remote technology.

In addition to the prison term, he was also ordered to pay costs and a DNA fee along with the fee for registering as a sex offender. Avilez was given credit for more than 1060 days already served in jail.
