2020 Howard County Fair Limited to Livestock Shows and Premium Sale

Normally, the Howard County Fair activities would only be a few weeks away. However, due to Covid-19, the Howard County Fair Board recently made the decision that the only activities associated with this year’s fair will be the livestock shows and premium sale.
Those are scheduled for September 8th through 11th. The sheep show will take place September 8th at 9 a.m. Also that afternoon, will be the goat show, which is scheduled to begin at four p.m.
Plans call for the hog and cattle shows to be held September 9th. The hog show will be at 9 a.m. & the cattle show at four p.m.
The final day of shows will have the rabbit show on the morning of September 10th and the poultry show that afternoon.
The annual premium sale will take place at nine a.m. on the morning of September 11th. Exhibitors will be present for the sale, but there will be no animals. No lunch will be provided this year.
More information is available by contacting any fair board member. Covid-19 guidelines, including face masks & social distancing, will be enforced.
