2020 Howard County Livestock Shows

This week was set aside for the 2020 Howard County Fair. Like most other things that have been scheduled since mid-March, COVID-19 has eliminated most of the planned fair events. The exception is the livestock show and premium sale. Those are going forward this week as scheduled at the fairgrounds.
Activities begin today with the sheep and goat shows. The Wednesday schedule includes the hog show at 9 a.m. and cattle at four p.m. For Thursday, the activities start at nine with the rabbits and the poultry show will immediately follow.
This year’s premium sale happens Friday morning at nine o’clock. Exhibitors will be present for the sale, but there will be no animals present, and no lunch will be provided this year.
