4A playoff picture, clear as mud
In a year with every football team in the 4A classification being eligible for the playoffs. due to Covid-19, the Arkansas Activities Association provided a bracket so that the two teams with a first round bye, would get a second round contest and avoid having back to back open dates on the schedule. Nashville and Shiloh Christian are the teams this season to have a week one bye. The Scrappers and Saints were then matched up with the two lowest rank teams who did not automatically qualify for the playoffs. Nashville’s November 20th opponent was Waldron. However, Nashville school officials say they learned Tuesday afternoon that Waldron has notified the Arkansas Arkansas Activities Association that they have a COVID problem and will not be playing the game. This means Nashville will have back to back open weeks in the playoffs and will not see action until November 27th at Scrapper Stadium. The opponent for that contest will be Elkins, Green Forest, or Bald Knob.
