Governor Lists COVID Guidance For Places Of Worship

Places of worship were given guidance of operation by Governor Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Department of Health Monday.

Among the recommendations is continuing the online platform that many churches have been doing the past several weeks. For churches that decide to have worship services, the recommendations also included wearing facial coverings, six foot distancing except for families and no classes for youth or providing childcare.

The guidance for places of worship was effective yesterday.

For the venue settings, the guidelines given were in the form of a directive. The outdoor venues should be limited to less than 50 participants and 50 spectators. Indoor events are prohibited from returning until May 18th.
