5K Glow Run/Walk a success for Junior Auxiliary of Nashville
The Junior Auxiliary of Nashville held a family fun night and 5K glow run and walk on Saturday at the Nashville City Park near the soccer fields and the organization raised over $2,500 dollars for local scholarships and Junior Auxiliary membership dues.
Junior Auxiliary member Tessa Dean reported Nashville XC (cross country) coach Jerrad Jones was the overall winner. Dianna Self was the overall female winner. She said over 55 runners registered and the event was a success.
Dean said Junior Auxiliary appreciated the support that the organization gets in the community. She also mentioned several ways that Junior Auxiliary gives back to those in the community who have a need.
Dean also mentioned JA will be hosting a Back to School Bash in early August.
