Jarod Harper with DEA Speaks to Public on Lansdell Investigation
The Drug Enforcement Administration(DEA), with assistance from local law enforcement conducted a search warrant at 6 Lansdell Family Clinic locations in De Queen, Dierks, Lockesburg, & Texarkana on Tuesday morning. This being a part of an ongoing investigation that has been in the making for some time.
Agents on scene said the search warrant was executed this morning in response to suspected over-prescription of opioid medications through the clinic’s pharmacy. Here is Jarod Harper, Assistant Director of the DEA’s Little Rock office with more details.
Agents with the DEA said no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is pending and all clinics have been closed down for the day and patients rescheduled.
A spokesperson with the DEA said more information will be made available as the investigation continues.
