Nashville Shooting – West Henderson and 7th Street
A shooting here in Nashville was reported last Thursday. Upon investigation the details surrounding the event are as follows:
On June 10th, at around 6:43 PM. City officers were dispatched to West Henderson and 7th Street, in reference to a large group of people fighting. While enroute to the call, officers were advised that shots had been fired. When officers arrived on scene, they saw a black SUV travelling North on 7th, occupied by four individuals. The driver, identified as 28-year-old, Jamarquis Jones, from Foreman, Arkansas, stopped the car and flagged down Officer Jarret Rogers. Jones pointed at some vehicles leaving the scene going South on 7th, saying they were the ones shooting at them, and one of Jones passengers later identified as 19-year-old Koriante Green. Green was transported to the Howard Memorial Hospital. Where he was later released. After investigating the crime scene, and interviewing witnesses. It was reported that a fist fight broke out between Koriante Green, and “Bubba” Booth. Witnesses said after the fight was over three individuals (unidentified) at the time, pulled out hand guns and started firing approximately 4-6 rounds, at the group from Foreman. There were no other injuries reported and the crime is under investigation.
