Howard Memorial Hospital – Visitor Restrictions
Howard Memorial Hospital issued a press release that will be effective beginning July 19th, 2021. On this date Howard Memorial Hospital will begin visitor restriction due to an increase and concern of the COVID 19 Delta Variant. The hospital will again take steps to restrict visitors due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. Howard Memorial will continue compliance with the “No Patient Left Alone Bill”. This bill, which became active on March 10th of this year ensures that any minor or adult patient may designate a visitor that will have unrestricted visitation to patient care regardless of emergency declarations by the governor or the Legislature.
