Howard County Extension Homemakers

Howard County Extension Homemakers Fall Council meeting was recently held honoring the outstanding EHC volunteer hours for the past year. The list of those honored is as follows:

Bonnie Harding, Corliss Lewis from Moonlighters EHC. Edith Deloney, Pam Wynn, Laura Dupree, Deb Kreul, Joy Barr, Tina Conzel, and Dana Newberg representing Twilight EHC.

This selfless group donated over 3,975 total hours valued at approximately $113,447. Extension Homemakers give back to their communities through community service. This year’s focus was on Food Insecurity where clubs conducted 28 projects pertaining to such this past year. The Moonlighters EHC was recognized as Club of the year giving on average 173 hours each month in community service activities. There are currently 4 clubs in the Howard County area.
