Howard County Schools Place Bids for 2022 Tournaments

All three Howard County school districts have submitted bids to be host sites for the upcoming regional basketball post season tournaments.  In 4A, Nashville & De Queen are being considered for the south region tournament.  In class 2A, Dierks is one of three locations seeking to host the south regional, while in the single A classification, Mineral Springs is also one of three school districts to submit a bid

 In addition to basketball, the Arkansas Activities Association will also be awarding host sites for all spring sports activities.  Nashville has submitted bids to host both the 4A regional & state tournaments in softball & baseball this year. Bids will be awarded Thursday afternoon at two o’clock.
