McCoy charged with forgery in Pike County

Forgery charges have been filed in Pike County against a Little Rock woman. 24 year old Dekera Monique McCoy is accused of forging a 23 hundred dollar check on the account of a local resident last year. While authorities were at the victim’s bank investigating the matter, they learned another check, this one in the amount of 36 hundred dollars, was also attempting to be cleared. The investigation led authorities to McCoy. Police in Little Rock told Pike County authorities that they were also working on forgery cases involving McCoy. She also has a conviction in Faulkner County on forgery charges.
