Scrapper Cheer Team National Champions

The Nashville High School cheerleaders were named the National Champions in the Small Intermediate Varsity Game Performance category during the National Cheerleaders Association’s national competition this weekend in Dallas.

Team members include: Katie Cochran, Lexy Elmore, Taylor Darling, Anna Claire Gunter, Abby Furr, Ryley Harrison, Avery Hood, Lamia Madora, Ali Hutchinson, Addie Moorer, Macy McCammack, Anna Kate Sartin, Erin Watts, Cameri Smith and Nancy Worthington. Erin Askew is the NHS cheer coach.

The Nashville Senior High Cheerleaders won their division of a national competition over the weekend at Dallas. Nashville was one of four teams competing for the first time at the National Cheer Association’s high school competition. The team represented Arkansas as the 4A state runners up & competed over the weekend in the Intermediate Small Varsity Game Performance competition.
