Covid cases continue to decline in Howard County

Howard County’s active Covid-19 case count stands at 118…which continues to represent a steady decline from the past few weeks. Numbers are also lower in many other counties. Pike County has dropped below 100 cases now, with 88 reported by the Arkansas Department of Health. There are 138 active cases reported in Hempstead County.
Numbers released yesterday by the Nashville School District support that trend of decreasing case numbers. Only two students were positive as of Monday. The district has no teachers with Covid-19. Those figures are the district’s lowest active total since November 1st.
Statewide, the health department is reporting just over 33 thousand Arkansans with Covid-19.
