Polk County woman arrested for drug possession in Howard County

Felony drug possession charges have been filed against a Polk County woman following a traffic stop last month on Highway 70 in Howard County. Authorities say 34 year old Vanessa Rundle, of Wickes, was the passenger in a vehicle stopped after deputies said they observe the vehicle crossing the center line. Deputy Jake Eudy was given consent to search the vehicle by its driver. During the process, reports say Deputy Eudy recovered a makeup bag beneath the passenger’s seat. Prosecutors say inside that bag, was a clear bag that contained a crystal, rock like substance, believed to be methamphetamine.
As a result of the discovery, Rundle has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, meth cocaine.
