Murfreesboro City Council conducts short meeting

The Murfreesboro City Council completed its February meeting in about ten minutes Tuesday evening…with no action items listed on this month’s agenda. Council members were reminded of the $1,500 dollar commitment the city has agreed to with the local CADC office for meal purchases. It was also announced at the meeting that the city has been deeded the Community Services Building from the town’s community foundation. City officials say there are no current plans for use of the building, which is located next to the old Conway Hotel.
