HMH receives clean audit

Certified Public Accountant Bill Couch presented the 2021 audit for Howard Memorial Hospital during the March meeting of the HMH Board of Directors.

Couch stated there was an anomaly in the HMH financials. He explained the hospital’s adjusted patient days decreased but the revenue increased.

Couch also reported the hospital received a clean unmodified audit. He said the hospital was doing really well financially and its financial future looked bright.

HMH CFO Debra Wright presented a report that stated the hospital has received its new cardiac monitoring equipment and it will be installed in April and the TIMS 2000 equipment has been delivered. The GI Equipment has been ordered but no shipping date has been received, and the new oven is expected to be shipped June 20.
