Dierks School Board hires classroom teacher during special called meeting

Monday afternoon, the Dierks School Board met during a special called meeting to discuss personal. 

Following an executive session, the board voted to hire Jennifer Edge as a classroom teacher. The minutes of the meeting did not specify which grade or subject Edge will be teaching.

Board members also accepted the resignation of Lisa Ward and Courtney Parson as paraprofessionals. Parson was hired July 5th as a paraprofessional but has since taken employment elsewhere. The board agreed to move down their list of perspective paraprofessionals.

The next meeting of the Dierks School Board is Monday, July 18.
