Nashville City Council weekly meeting update

The Nashville City Council held their regular meeting this week.

Parks and Recreation Director, Meghan Floyd stated they have started the basketball program for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. 

Floyd mentioned they had their first basketball tournament on October 15th and they were able to raise $1,530.55 on door fees. Floyd said that this exceeded their goal and they were able to pay for uniforms and referees.

Floyd talked about the total number of players in the league and what they’ve done differently this season.

Floyd also talked about the 3rd and 4th grade basketball program.

Floyd gave an update on the construction project on the t-ball complex, the soccer program, and upcoming activities that will take place at the park.
