Nashville Scrappers weather storm in Lonoke for 36-35 victory
Nashville and Lonoke moved the start of Friday night’s game to 5 pm due to the threat of inclement weather and it proved to be a smart decision. As storms moved across the state shortly after the conclusion of the game in Lonoke.
The Scrappers came home with a 36-35 victory but had to shelter on the campus of Henderson State University before they arrived home
Nashville improved to 7 and 3 overall and finished the season 3 and 2 in the conference.
The Scrappers will be in the road in the first round of the playoffs this Friday.
Friday’s game against the Jackrabbits went back and forth but the Scrapper defense stopped Lonoke on a 2-point conversion that would have put the Jackrabbits on top late in the game to help secure the win.
