Nashville native will compete in trumpet competition in Colorado

Nashville native Brody King along with Becca Werternberger, Carlos Mejia, Audrey Alpha and Cody Daughertee have been selected as semi-finalists for the Arkansas State Fantasia Trumpet Ensemble in the 2023 International Trumpet Guild’s Chamber Music Division of the Ryan Anthony Memorial Trumpet Competition. They will travel to Colorado in March to compete and then to Minnesota to compete this summer. 
King graduated from Nashville High School in 2019, was even a member of the Nashville Mighty Scrapper Band, and was selected for the 2019 All State Band. King is now a Senior at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and will graduate in May with a Music Performance Degree.
