Prescott man arrested for breaking into the Animal Shelter
On December 27th Nashville Patrol Sergeant Ty Basiliere responded to a call at the animal shelter in Nashville.
According to the affadavit, Nashville Animal Control Officer Seborn Gregory had footage of a male and a female coming to the animal shelter on December 26th and take a brown pitbull out of the dog pens attached to the shelter. The male subject was identified as 38 year old Raymundo Ortiz of Prescott. As reported, Ortiz pulled up on the bottom of the fence allowing the dog to get out. The two subjects then took the dog and put him in their vehicle and left the animal shelter. The dog in question was picked up by Gregory in Prescott on December 26th.
Ortiz was arrested and charged with Breaking or entering and theft of property.
