Dierks School Board Special called meeting

Members of the Dierks School Board held a special called meeting last week.

During the meeting, the board approved a motion to move Crystal Reid from Food Service to paraprofessional and to hire Jennifer Revels as food service as per the salary schedule for the 2023-2024 school year.

Superintendent Grover Hill talked about the Dierks Booster Club being interested in funding a building so the weight room can be moved from the football field over to the school and how it can be more convenient for the students.

Hill even mentioned how the school district used the safety grant and what safety measures were taken at each facility.

Hill also discussed the priorities of the district, how important testing scores are, how the students made significant progress last year, and hopes this upcoming school year will be even better.
