Jr. Scrappers vs Magnolia Cubs
The Nashville Junior Scrappers hosted the Magnolia Cubs last Thursday. During the 1st Quarter after several plays Bryce Perrin scored the first touchdown. Here is the call by Mike Aylett.
The Jr Scrappers then kicked a field goal making the score 7 to 0.
The Cubs scored a touchdown in the second quarter and put 6 points on the board. Magnolia went for the field goal, but it was no good. Afterwards, Myles Hawthorne would run a 78-yard touchdown and here is the call from Mike Aylett.
The Jr Scrappers went for the 2-point conversion, which was good, and they lead the Cubs 15 to 6. Immediately after that play Magnolia scored another touchdown off of a 62-yard kickoff return. The Cubs then went for the 2-point conversion, but it was no good.
Hawthorne would then make a 40-yard run and score a touchdown and that would be the last time the Jr Scrappers would score against the Cubs. Here is the call from Mike Aylett.
Magnolia would score after recovering the ball from a fumble. Jr Scrappers would come up short and the final score was 22 to 26.
