Nashville Native hosting art show in honor of Effie Anderson Smith

Starting tomorrow September 15th there will be an Art Show hosted at the Elberta Art Center located at 109 South Main Street here in Nashville. Art pieces that will be shown will be artwork by Effie Anderson Smith who lived in the 1800s and was also a Nashville native.

Event Coordinator Cindy Petty mentioned some of Smith’s accomplishments.

Petty said that Smith started painting during her time in Nashville along with describing some of Smith’s art pieces.

Petty stated that a relative of Smith will be bringing 20 of Smith’s paintings to show Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
