Glenwood man arrested for drug possession
A Glenwood man has been arrested after Pike County Deputy Chance Reid conducted a traffic stop on an unlicensed motorcycle on Rock Creek Cut Off in Glenwood. According to the affidavit, the driver was identified as 54-year Clifton Teel. Reid then reportedly ran Teel through an ACIC check and it showed that Teel had a search waiver on file. As reported when deputies started searching Teel, Deputy Micah Brown pulled a towel from Teel’s left arm of his jacket and a small clear bag containing suspected methamphetamine fell onto the ground. It was reported that as Brown continued to pull the towel, there was a glass smoking pipe and a red straw still in it.
Teel was transported to the Pike County Jail and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, no liability insurance, and failure to register a vehicle.
