Congressman Westerman Talks International Energy Partnerships and U.S. Development

Congressman Bruce Westerman, who represents Arkansas’ Fourth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, serves on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and is Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources.

KMTB and KNAS recently sat down with Congressman Westerman to discuss his latest travels and key developments impacting both the U.S. and its allies.

In this portion of the interview, Congressman Westerman began by reflecting on recent developments, including his experience in Southeast Asia.

Westerman then shifted focus to his visits near the Alaska pipeline, highlighting how long gas production has been underway in that region and what he observed during his time there.

He went on to explain that several U.S. allies in the Indo-Pacific region are showing strong interest in buying natural gas—not only to meet their energy needs, but also to invest in billions of dollars to get more manufacturing in the US.

Stay tuned for more updates from Congressman Westerman.
