Curator of the Old Washington State Park guest speaker at Nashville Rotary Club Meeting
Last week, Joshua Williams, the curator at the Old Washington State Park spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club about the Christmas and Candlelight program at the park.
Christmas and Candlelight is scheduled for this weekend, December 8th and 9th from 1 to 8 pm.
Williams described some of the activities surrounding the weekend. He also mentioned Ms. Stacia Petty’s 3rd grade class will be singing on Friday night and clients from the Howard County Children’s Center will be caroling outside at the park.
Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children and parking is $6.
Williams said the park will feature several events next year, including a Valentine’s Day Dinner in February, Jonquil Festival in March, the Eclipse in April, ‘Saying Goodbye to Jenny’ and ‘Washington after Dark’ in October, and ‘Town in Conflict’ in November.
