Arkansas Century Farm Program selects 36 Inductees in Arkansas
The Arkansas Century Farm Program recognizes Arkansas farms of 10 acres or more owned by the same family for at least 100 years. The Arkansas Department of Agriculture established the program in 2012 to highlight the contributions of these families to the agriculture industry as well as the state.
Out of the 36 Inductees there’s inductees out of Howard, Hempstead, and Little River Counties.
In Howard County, the Ponder Family Farm, which was established in 1907, Phillips Family Farm in Hempstead County which was established in 1883, and in Little River County the Hill Creek Farm which was established in 1910.
