Mineral Springs School District updates security on campuses

Monday night, the Mineral Springs School Board held their regular monthly meeting. 

During the meeting, Mineral Springs Elementary Principal Ruby Dean presented the results that were in regard to Response to Intervention.

Mineral Springs High School Principal JonDavid Amerson shared with the board that 25% of the Senior class has been accepted into a 4-year university.

Amerson also talked about what will be their focus when it pertains to testing.

Amerson stated that they are also getting ahead of the game when it comes to security and even mentioned that a company was recently on their campuses doing installations of badge scanners at their gates.
