52nd Annual Pine Tree Festival Set for Saturday in Dierks

The countdown is on for the 52nd Annual Pine Tree Festival, happening this Saturday, August 2nd, at Dierks City Park. On Wednesday, we spoke with Jaron Tipton of the Dierks Chamber of Commerce to learn more about the festival’s full day of family fun.
Tipton shared that the festivities will begin bright and early at 7 am, with a full lineup of events for all ages.
One of the fan-favorite events is “Mutton Bustin’,” a children’s rodeo-style event that always draws a crowd. Tipton says it’s one of the most entertaining parts of the day.
The festival will also feature the Ultimate Bullfighters (UBF), a thrilling and fast-growing sport. Tipton talked about the group’s dedication and how much they travel to compete.
He also explained how bullfighters earn points throughout the season, leading up to the championship event known as the “End All, Be All.”
And if you’re thinking about attending, tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on the day of the event.
The Dierks Chamber invites everyone to come out, enjoy the fun, and celebrate a long-standing tradition in the community.
