Howard County Man Facing Drug and Contraband Charges Following Traffic Stop

A Delight man is facing multiple felony charges after a July 16 traffic stop in Howard County led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
Dillan Ray Schooley, 31, was arrested following a stop conducted by Arkansas State Police Corporal Kyle Jones on a red 2005 Nissan Sentra for failure to use a turn signal.
During the stop, officers reportedly noticed the smell of marijuana and identified four individuals in the vehicle, including Schooley, who was seated in the back. After further investigation and assistance from Trooper Micah Brown and Nashville Police Officers David Shelby and Danielle Greenfield, Schooley was searched, and a smoke pipe was found near his groin area.
Once transported to the Howard County Detention Facility, a more thorough search uncovered three separate bags containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, along with a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and digital scales.

Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana
